about

The songs on this album were recorded on January 19, 2013, at TolkienCon, Prague. Concerts and lectures were held in the gym of a local primary school where the convention was housed. Since the recording really does seem to capture the special atmosphere of this memorable occasion, we decided to release the entire concert in digital format on Bandcamp as a thank you to our wonderful audience.

The recording was done directly from the mixing desk, combined with a stereo microphone to capture the ambience of the room. No further editing was done apart from shortening a few gaps in between the songs. The album is directed primarily at those who were there at the show, who will get a free download code on request. For those who weren't there but still would like to download the music, we ask that you donate 3 EUR (or more) so that we can continue travelling around and play our music to different audiences.

about

Fauns Berlin, Germany

Now known as "Favni".

The Fauns combine acoustic instruments with rock appeal, folkloristic influences with elements of progressive rock, melancholic moments with sound explosions. There is no one category into which the Fauns allow themselves to be put; their music thrives on the variety of its different influences, the unifying element being intensity of emotion and atmosphere. ... more
